I purchased this device for my 95 year old Mom. She’s an avid reader but has pretty severe vision issues. This device seems to work pretty well for her and I think she will begin to enjoy it more as she gets use to it. One issue I have with the design is that the “freeze” button on top of the device is placed right where a person naturally tends to hold onto the device, so she (and I) both continue to accidentally hit that button and freeze the image. It’s not a serious problem but it is annoying. The only other thing that annoys me a bit is that it doesn’t come with the handle. I feel that for the price of this device, it should include a handle. Hopefully it will be a dependable device for the long term.
