I am getting error 1312 when embossing from Duxbury.

This error typically occurs if the Output Options for printing are incorrectly set within the Global Settings Tab in the Duxbury Braille Translator. To verify the embosser is set correctly, open Duxbury, and select the Global menu option, then choose Embosser Setup. Choose the embosser you are printing too from the list, and then select the option to Modify Embosser. Under the option Output Options make sure the option to Send to Printer is checked, then choose the embosser you desire to print too. When finished, choose OK, then OK again, then try printing your document again.

Clean pick-up rollers – Everest

To improve the paper pick up quality of your Everest or 4×4, V5, V4,V3, and V2:

Clean the pickup rollers with a very fine piece of sand paper, or dampen a towel with isopropyl alcohol. Press the feed button while hold the sand-paper, or towel against the pick-up rollers. If you have used a towel with isopropyl alcohol, allow time for the alcohol to dry before putting into the sheet feeder.

Check that the paper is of approved quality: professionally cut, straight (not curved or bent), weight between 120-180 gsm.

Make sure that the two paper guides are in position.

Adjust the sheet card selectors to the best suited position for your paper type- see instructions under “Sheet feeder adjustment Everest-D“.

Adjust and lock the margin guides to the width of your paper.
